βWhat city or ZIP code is the property in? I'll check whether it's within our service area.β
Asking about availability
βWhat day are you hoping to have someone out? I'll check the available appointment times.β
Asking for pricing
βPricing for {{trade_display}} work depends on the scope, materials, and access. What exactly are you looking to have done so I can give you a useful range?β
After-hours inquiry
βThanks for reaching out. We're currently outside normal hours, but we received your message. Tell us what you need and we'll follow up during business hours.β
Returning a missed call
βHi {{customer_name}}, I saw we missed your call. I wanted to follow up β what can I help you with?β

βHi {{customer_name}}, sorry I missed your call. I'm available now if you'd like to try again, or let me know what you need and I'll get right back to you.β
Second missed call follow-up
βHi {{customer_name}}, I tried reaching you earlier. No rush β when you have a moment, let me know what you were calling about and I'll help from there.β
Wants a ballpark
βI can give you a rough range once I know the scope of the {{trade_display}} work and what's involved. Is this a small repair or a larger project?β
Wants exact pricing immediately
βI don't want to give you an exact number without seeing the job β access, condition, and scope all affect the price. Can you tell me what you're seeing so far?β
Too expensive
βTotally understand, {{customer_name}} β price is always important. Out of curiosity, was the total higher than what you had budgeted, or are you comparing it to another estimate? Either way, let's look at the scope together so you're not paying for anything you don't actually need.β
Got a cheaper quote
βThat makes total sense β you definitely want the best value. Most times when another bid comes in lower, they either excluded prep work, used lower-grade materials, or don't warranty their labor. If you're open to it, send over their scope of work and I'll give you an honest breakdown of the differences so you don't get stuck with surprise change orders.β
Wants price match
βI definitely respect that you're looking for the best price. We price our jobs so we don't have to cut corners on licensed crews, quality materials, or standing behind our warranty. If you share their written proposal, I'd love to review the scope with you and see if we can adjust ours to match what they're actually including.β
Wants to remove items
βWe can definitely look at that! What specific parts of the project are you comfortable deferring for now, and what's the must-have outcome you want solved immediately? Let's dial in the phase-one priority.β
I'll shop around
βCompletely understand β it's a big decision and you should feel 100% confident. When you're talking to other contractors, make sure to ask whether permits, cleanup, and written warranties are included so there aren't hidden fees later. What's the main factor you're weighing right now: price, start date, or contractor reputation?β
I need to think about it
βTotally understand, take your time. Usually when folks need to think it over, it comes down to either the price, the timing, or something we didn't explain clearly. Which of those is on your mind?β
I need to talk to my spouse
βThat makes complete sense β definitely something both of you should be on the same page about. What questions do you think they'll have when you show them the estimate? I can send over a quick summary bulleting what's included so you have all the answers ready.β
I need to talk to my partner
βMakes complete sense β you definitely want to make sure you're both comfortable with the plan. What do you think will be their top concern: the total investment, the timeline, or the disruption while the work is being done? Happy to send a quick bulleted summary you can look over together.β
Problem details

βIs the issue confined to one specific spot or room, or are you noticing signs in multiple areas around the property?β

Asking about availability
βWhat day are you hoping to have someone out? I'll check the available appointment times.β

βPricing can depend on the pest, size of the property, extent of activity, and treatment needed. What pest are you dealing with and where are you seeing it?β
Wants a ballpark
βI can give you a more useful estimate once I know the pest, where it's active, and roughly how extensive the problem is. Is this limited to one area or are you seeing signs throughout the home?β
Wants exact pricing immediately
βI don't want to give you an exact number without knowing what we're treating. Pest type, activity level, and the property all matter. Can you tell me what you've found so far?β
Problem details
βWhat are you seeing that makes you think you have a pest problem? If you know the pest, let me know, but a description of what you're seeing is fine too.β
Property/job details

Timeline

Unknown animal activity
βWhat are you hearing or seeing, and where? If it's an animal in the attic, crawl space, chimney, or wall, the type of animal can change the next step.β
Too expensive
βTotally understand, {{customer_name}} β price is always a big consideration. Just to make sure we're on the same page, was the quote higher than what you had budgeted, or are you comparing it with another exterminator? The difference is usually whether they do a surface spray or actually target the nesting source with a retreatment guarantee.β
Got a cheaper quote
βThat's definitely worth checking into! A lot of budget pest companies just do a quick perimeter spray that leaves the root colony alive, meaning you have to call them back every month. Did their quote include interior and exterior treatments, plus free retreatments if pests come back?β
Wants price match
βWe'd love to earn your business! If they're using the same commercial formulations, doing the full attic/crawl/perimeter inspection, and providing a retreatment warranty, send over their written quote and we'll see how close we can get.β
Wants to remove items
βWe can definitely look at that! Are you wanting to focus on just the immediate problem area first, like the kitchen or yard? I just want to ensure we don't skip an entry point that lets the pests migrate to another room.β
Requesting estimate
βSure. To put together the right estimate, we'll need the pest issue, affected areas, and any other details needed for the property. Can you tell me what's happening?β
Estimate sent
βHi {{customer_name}}, just checking that you received the estimate we sent over. If you have any questions about the scope or what's included, send them here and we'll go through it.β
No response after estimate

Needs to speak with spouse/partner

Layers and history
βDo you know if there's already a second layer of shingles on the roof, or is it a single layer? Has the roof been patched or repaired before?β
How long does a roof last
βAn asphalt shingle roof typically lasts 20β30 years depending on quality and climate, metal can go 40β70, and tile even longer. Once we inspect it we can tell you where yours stands.β
Can you patch vs replace
βThat depends on the roof's age, how widespread the damage is, and whether the underlying layers are still sound. A small isolated leak on a newer roof can often be patched; widespread failures usually mean replacement.β
Insurance and storm claims
βIf this is storm-related, document everything with photos and contact your insurance company to open a claim. We can provide a detailed inspection report they'll need β I can walk you through what to expect.β

Maintenance history
βWhen was the last time the system had a tune-up or the filters were changed? Have you noticed it running longer than usual or short-cycling on and off?β
How often to replace filters
βStandard 1-inch filters usually need changing every 1β3 months; thicker 4β5 inch media filters can go 6β12 months. It depends on pets, allergies, and how hard the system runs. We can recommend the right schedule for your setup.β
Repair vs replace system
βA common rule of thumb: if the repair cost approaches half the price of a new system and the unit is past 10β15 years old, replacement often makes more sense. We'll give you honest numbers on both once we diagnose it.β
Refrigerant and EPA safety
βOlder systems use R-22 refrigerant, which is no longer manufactured and increasingly expensive; newer systems use R-410A or similar. If your system is low on refrigerant, that means there's a leak β we'll find and seal it rather than just topping it off.β

βWhere is the leak showing up β under a sink, at a wall or ceiling, near the water heater, or outside? Is it a slow drip or actively running? Have you been able to shut off the water to that area?β

βAre multiple drains backing up at once, or is there a gurgling sound when you run water? Do you smell sewage, and is any water coming up through a floor drain or basement? This can be an emergency β let me know right away.β
Water heater issue
βIs the heater leaking from the bottom, making rumbling noises, or just not heating? How old is the unit, and is it gas or electric? Have you seen any error codes or pilot light issues?β
Burst pipe emergency
βHave you shut off the main water valve? If not, do that first to stop the flooding. Where is the burst pipe located, and is water actively pouring into the home? We'll get someone out as fast as we can.β
Fixture and pipe type
βDo you know if your home has copper, PEX, or galvanized piping? And for the fixture in question β is it a standard install or something older or custom that may need special parts?β
Access and shutoffs
βIs there clear access to the problem area β for example, a crawlspace, basement, or behind a wall? Do you know where your main water shutoff is located?β
Tank vs tankless water heater
βTank heaters are cheaper upfront and simpler; tankless save energy by heating on demand but cost more to install and may need a gas line or electrical upgrade. We can size both options to your home's demand and give you honest numbers.β
What not to put down drains
βAvoid grease, coffee grounds, eggshells, pasta and rice, and fibrous foods in the kitchen, and anything but toilet paper in bathrooms β 'flushable' wipes are a leading cause of clogs and sewer backups.β
Water pressure regulator
βIf your pressure is too high (over 80 psi), it can damage pipes, fixtures, and your water heater over time. A pressure regulator protects the whole system β we can test your pressure and advise whether one is needed.β
Outlet not working
βIs it a single outlet or several on the same wall? Is it a GFCI outlet (with test/reset buttons) β if so, try pressing reset. Have you checked the breaker for that circuit?β
Breaker tripping repeatedly
βWhich breaker is tripping, and what happens right before it trips β running a specific appliance, the AC kicking on, or using a certain outlet? How often is it happening? Repeated tripping can indicate an overload or a fault we should diagnose.β
Flickering lights
βIs it one light or several? Does it flicker when a large appliance turns on, or constantly? Have you tried a new bulb, and is it on a dimmer switch?β
Burning smell or sparking outlet
βIf you smell burning or see sparks from an outlet or switch, turn off the breaker to that circuit and avoid using it. This is a safety concern β tell me where it is and we'll prioritize it.β
Panel upgrade inquiry
βHow old is your home and your current panel? Are you adding new appliances, an EV charger, or finishing space that needs more capacity? Do you know your current panel's amperage β 100, 150, or 200?β
Light fixture or ceiling fan install
βIs there already a junction box in place where you want it installed, or is this a new location? For a ceiling fan, is the box rated to support the weight and motion of a fan?β
EV charger installation
βWhat charger are you planning to install β a Level 2 hardwired unit or a plug-in? How far is your electrical panel from where you want the charger, and do you know your panel's available capacity?β
Whole-home generator inquiry
βAre you looking for a standby generator that kicks on automatically, or a portable unit? What are the must-run appliances β AC, well pump, refrigerator, medical equipment? That determines the size we'd recommend.β
Panel and service size
βDo you know your home's service size β typically 100, 150, or 200 amps? Is the panel indoors or outdoors, and roughly how old is it? Any Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels, which we'd flag for replacement?β
Wiring age and type
βDo you know how old the wiring is? If your home is pre-1970s, we'll want to check for aluminum wiring or cloth-sheathed wiring, which have known safety concerns.β
GFCI and AFCI requirements
βModern code requires GFCI protection in kitchens, baths, garages, and outdoors, and AFCI protection in living areas and bedrooms. If your home is older, we can bring key circuits up to current safety code.β
Signs you need a panel upgrade
βCommon signs: breakers tripping frequently, flickering lights, a panel that's full with no room for new circuits, or a panel over 25β30 years old. Adding large loads like an EV charger or mini-splits often requires an upgrade too.β
Surge protection
βA whole-home surge protector at the panel guards against large external surges; point-of-use strips protect individual devices. We recommend both layers for sensitive electronics. We can add panel-level protection during a service visit.β
Landscape design / install inquiry
βAre you starting from a bare yard, or redoing an existing landscape? What's the main goal β curb appeal, outdoor living space, privacy, or low maintenance? Do you have a rough budget range in mind?β
Drainage / erosion problem
βWhere is the water pooling or eroding β yard, near the foundation, or a slope? Does it happen after every rain or only heavy storms? Have you noticed where the water is entering from?β

βHow high does the wall need to be, and what's it holding back β a garden bed, a slope, or a driveway edge? Is drainage behind the wall a concern? Do you have a material preference β block, timber, or stone?β
Hardscape / patio install
βWhat size area are you thinking, and what's the primary use β dining, lounging, or a walkway? Do you prefer pavers, natural stone, or concrete? Is the ground fairly level or will it need grading?β
Irrigation system inquiry
βIs this a new install, a repair, or an upgrade to an existing system? How large is the area, and are there zones with different needs β lawn vs beds? Do you want smart controller integration?β
Site and soil conditions
βIs the lot flat or sloped, and do you know your soil type β clay, sandy, or loam? Are there existing underground utilities or irrigation we need to locate before digging?β
Best plants for the area
βPlant choice depends on your sun exposure, soil, and how much maintenance you want. Native and drought-tolerant varieties usually perform best with the least upkeep β we'll recommend options suited to your specific site.β
Project timeline and seasons
βLandscaping can be done most of the year, but planting establishes best in cooler seasons and hardscape is easiest when the ground isn't frozen or saturated. We'll sequence the work so each part goes in at the right time.β
Lawn maintenance / mowing inquiry
βHow large is the lawn, and are you looking for weekly or biweekly mowing? Is the property fenced, and is there gated access for equipment? Any areas that are overgrown right now?β
Bare spots / thin grass
βWhere are the bare or thin areas β sunny spots, shaded areas, or both? Have you had grub or disease issues before? When was the last time the lawn was aerated or overseeded?β
Weed problem
βAre you seeing broadleaf weeds like dandelions, grassy weeds like crabgrass, or both? Is this throughout the lawn or concentrated in certain areas? Are you currently on any treatment program?β
Fertilization / treatment program
βAre you looking for a full-season program or a one-time treatment? Do you prefer organic or conventional products? Are pets or children regularly on the lawn β that affects timing and product choice.β
Aeration and overseeding
βIs your lawn mostly cool-season grass like fescue, or warm-season like Bermuda? Aeration and overseeding timing depends on the grass type β cool-season is best in fall, warm-season in late spring.β
Lawn size and condition
βRoughly how many square feet is the lawn, and what's its current condition β healthy, thin, or mostly weeds? Is irrigation available, and how much sun does the lawn get?β
How often to mow
βIn the growing season, weekly mowing keeps the lawn healthiest β never cutting more than a third of the blade at once. Growth slows in heat or drought, so we adjust frequency to conditions.β
Pet and child safety after treatment
βAfter a fertilizer or weed treatment, we'll give you the exact re-entry time for the specific product used β usually keep pets and kids off until it's watered in and fully dry. We'll flag any special precautions for your service.β
Tree removal inquiry
βWhat's prompting the removal β dead or dying tree, storm damage, or it's just in the way? How large is the tree (rough trunk diameter and height), and is there clear access for equipment? Anything near power lines or structures?β
Tree trimming / pruning
βWhat's the goal β clearing branches off the house or driveway, shaping, or deadwood removal? How tall is the tree, and when was it last pruned? Are there any branches that look cracked or hanging?β
Storm-damaged tree
βIs the tree split, leaning, or are there broken limbs hanging? Is anything resting on a structure, power line, or driveway? If a limb is hanging and ready to fall, keep people away from that area.β
Stump grinding
βHow many stumps, and roughly how wide and tall are they? Do you want the area fully ground below grade so you can replant or sod over it? Any buried utilities or irrigation near the stumps?β
Tree health concern
βWhat are you seeing β leaf loss, discoloration, fungus, dead branches, or bark damage? Is it one tree or several, and has it changed quickly or over a longer period?β
Access and hazards
βCan a bucket truck or chipper reach the tree, or is it a backyard job needing climbing and hand carry? Are there power lines, fences, or structures underneath that we need to protect?β
Permit and HOA rules
βSome cities and HOAs require permits or approval before removing trees, especially larger or protected species. We can advise on local rules for your area, but it's worth checking your HOA guidelines too.β
When to remove vs treat
βIf more than 30β40% of the tree is dead or damaged, or there's structural failure in the trunk or major limbs, removal is usually the safer call. Otherwise targeted pruning or treatment may save it β we'll assess on site.β
Green / cloudy pool water
βIs the water green, cloudy, or both? Is the pump running and for how many hours a day? When did you last test the water or backwash the filter? Any algae on the walls or floor you can brush off?β
Pump or filter problem
βIs the pump not turning on, making noise, or losing prime? Is the filter pressure reading high or low? Have you checked the skimmer and pump baskets for debris?β
Pool leak
βHow much water are you losing β more than normal evaporation (over 1/4 inch a day)? Is it worse with the pump on or off? Have you done a bucket test to confirm it's a leak vs evaporation?β

Pool type and equipment
βIs the pool in-ground or above-ground, and what's the surface β plaster, pebble, fiberglass, or vinyl? Do you know the pump and filter type, and is there a salt system or traditional chlorine?β
Salt vs chlorine system
βSalt systems generate chlorine on-site and feel softer on skin and eyes, but cost more upfront and need the cell replaced every few years. Traditional chlorine is cheaper but requires more manual handling. We can size either to your pool.β
How often to run the pump
βIn summer, run the pump 8β12 hours a day to turn over the full volume; in cooler months you can cut back. The goal is to filter all the water daily. We'll set a schedule based on your pool size and equipment.β

Scope and selections
βHave you selected finishes β cabinets, countertops, tile, fixtures β or do you want help with selections? Knowing whether you're choosing standard, semi-custom, or custom materials helps us scope the budget accurately.β
How long a remodel takes
βA kitchen typically runs 4β8 weeks depending on scope and custom orders; a bathroom 2β4 weeks; whole-home renovations scale with size. We'll give you a detailed schedule with milestones before we start.β
Living in the home during remodel
βFor kitchens and baths we can set up a temporary setup, but expect dust and limited access to that space. For larger projects, many homeowners temporarily relocate. We contain dust and keep work zones safe throughout.β
Permit requirements
βMost remodeling work that changes structure, plumbing, or electrical requires permits and inspections. We pull permits and schedule inspections as part of the project so everything is code-compliant and documented for resale.β

βWhich rooms, and roughly how many square feet? Are you replacing carpet with carpet, or switching to a hard surface? Any pets or allergies we should factor into material choice?β
Flooring repair / damage
βWhat's the damage β water damage, buckling, scratches, cracked tiles, or loose boards? How large an area, and do you know what caused it? We want to fix the underlying issue before replacing flooring.β
Subfloor and moisture
βWhat's under the current flooring β plywood, concrete slab, or something else? Have you had any moisture issues in the space? Moisture testing matters for any glue-down or floating floor over concrete.β
Waterproof vs water-resistant flooring
βFor kitchens, baths, and basements, waterproof options like LVP, porcelain tile, or engineered stone perform best. Solid hardwood and laminate are water-resistant at best and can swell or warp with standing water.β
Acclimation and install timeline
βSolid hardwood needs to acclimate on site for several days before install to prevent gaps and buckling. LVP and tile can often go in faster. We'll build the right acclimation time into your schedule.β
Interior painting inquiry
βWhich rooms, and roughly how many square feet of wall and ceiling? Are we painting over existing paint in good shape, or is there repair, patching, or wallpaper removal needed? Do you have colors selected?β

βWhat kind of damage β cracks, holes, water stains, or textured ceiling repair? How widespread, and will it need texture matching before paint? Any recurring cracks that might indicate movement?β
Surface condition and prep
βIs the existing surface in good condition, or will it need washing, scraping, sanding, and priming? Proper prep is the difference between paint that lasts and paint that fails β we'll assess and quote accordingly.β
Paint quality and durability
βHigher-quality paints cover better, need fewer coats, and last longer β worth it on exteriors and high-traffic interiors. We use premium products and the right sheen for each surface: flat for ceilings, eggshell/satin for walls, semi-gloss for trim.β
Low-VOC and odor
βLow- and zero-VOC paints reduce odor and fumes, good for homes with kids, pets, or sensitivities. We can use low-VOC products throughout and ventilate during and after application.β

Paver patio / driveway
βWhat size area, and is this for a patio, walkway, or driveway? Do you have a paver style and color in mind, and is the base currently suitable or will it need excavation and grading?β
Asphalt paving / resurfacing
βIs this a new asphalt driveway or resurfacing an existing one? How large is the area, and is the base solid or does it need regrading? Any drainage issues or low spots holding water?β
Concrete leveling / mudjacking
βWhich slabs are settling β driveway, sidewalk, patio, or garage floor? How much drop is there, and is it causing drainage toward the foundation? Leveling may work if the concrete is sound; replacement if it's cracked.β
Base and drainage
βA concrete or paver job is only as good as its base. Do you know the soil conditions, and is there proper drainage away from the area? We assess the subgrade and slope before quoting so it lasts.β
Concrete vs pavers vs asphalt
βConcrete is durable and low-maintenance; pavers offer design flexibility and easy repairs; asphalt is economical for large driveways but needs periodic sealing. We'll recommend based on your use, budget, and site.β
Curing and sealing timeline
βConcrete needs about 24β48 hours before foot traffic and 7 days before vehicle traffic, reaching full strength at 28 days. We apply a cure-and-seal and recommend a reseal every few years to protect the surface.β

Gate installation / repair
βIs this a walk gate, double drive gate, or an automated gate? What's the opening width, and is the ground level? For automation, is there power nearby?β
Property lines and utilities
βDo you have a recent survey confirming the property line? Before we dig post holes, we'll call 811 to mark underground utilities β gas, electric, and water lines are commonly along fence lines.β
Material longevity
βPressure-treated wood lasts 15β20 years with maintenance; vinyl 25β30+ years with almost none; aluminum won't rust. We'll match the material to your goals for privacy, durability, and upkeep.β
HOA and setback rules
βMany HOAs and municipalities restrict fence height, material, and setback from the street. Check your HOA guidelines and we'll confirm local code β permits are often required for fences over a certain height.β
Garage door not opening
βIs it not opening at all, opening partway, or making noise? Does it respond to the wall button, the remotes, both, or neither? Have you checked the photo-eye sensors for obstruction or misalignment?β

βIs this a single or double door, and what's the rough opening size? Are you looking at insulated steel, wood, or carriage-house style? Do you want a new opener included, and is there existing wiring?β
Window replacement inquiry
βHow many windows, and are they single-hung, double-hung, casement, or sliders? Are you replacing because of rot, drafts, fogged glass, or upgrades? Wood, vinyl, or fiberglass frames?β
Entry door replacement
βIs this a front entry door, patio door, or interior? Are you considering fiberglass, steel, or wood? Is the existing frame square and rot-free, or will it need work before a new door goes in?β
Siding repair / replacement
βWhat siding material β vinyl, fiber cement, wood, or stucco? Is this a repair of damaged sections or full replacement? Any signs of moisture, rot, or pest damage behind the siding?β
Measurements and existing conditions
βFor doors and windows, exact rough opening sizes and the condition of the surrounding frame matter. Is there rot, settling, or water damage around the existing units? We measure and assess before quoting.β
Insulated vs non-insulated doors
βInsulated garage doors (R-6 to R-12+) reduce heat loss, cut noise, and matter if there's living space above or beside the garage. Non-insulated cost less but transfer more temperature and noise.β
Window energy efficiency
βDouble- or triple-pane Low-E glass with argon gas significantly improves efficiency and reduces UV fading. Look for ENERGY STAR ratings for your climate zone. We'll match glass and frame options to your goals and budget.β
Garage door not opening
βIs it not opening at all, opening partway, or making noise? Does it respond to the wall button, the remotes, both, or neither? Have you checked the photo-eye sensors for obstruction or misalignment?β

Gutter replacement / install
βIs this a new install or replacing existing gutters? How many linear feet, and are you considering seamless aluminum, steel, or copper? Do you want gutter guards included?β
Gutter leak / overflow
βWhere is it leaking β at seams, downspouts, or overflowing the edges? Does it happen in light rain or only downpours? Are the gutters sagging or pulling away from the fascia?β
Gutter cleaning inquiry
βHow tall is the home β single or multi-story? When were the gutters last cleaned, and are there guards installed? Are you seeing plants growing, water spilling over, or downspouts backed up?β
Downspout / drainage extension
βAre downspouts dumping water right at the foundation, or do you need extensions or underground drains to carry it away? Have you noticed water in the basement or crawl space after rain?β
Fascia and roof edge condition
βIs the fascia board behind the gutters solid, or is there rot that needs replacing before new gutters go up? We inspect the roof edge and fascia so the new gutters have a sound surface to attach to.β
Seamless vs sectional gutters
βSeamless gutters are formed on site to exact lengths, so there are no mid-run seams to leak β they're the standard for good reason. Sectional gutters are cheaper but leak at joints over time.β
Do gutter guards work
βQuality guards reduce cleaning frequency and keep large debris out, but no guard is zero-maintenance β fine debris and seeds can still get through. We recommend guards matched to your tree coverage.β
Solar installation inquiry
βIs this for a grid-tied, battery-backup, or off-grid system? What's your average monthly electric bill, and do you have a south- or west-facing roof with minimal shading? Roughly how old is the roof?β
Battery / storage inquiry
βAre you looking for whole-home backup during outages, or daily load-shifting to cut peak charges? Do you already have solar, or is this part of a new system? What are your essential loads to keep running?β
Solar panel underperformance
βHow much lower is production than expected, and over what timeframe? Any recent shading changes (tree growth, new construction), inverter error codes, or visible damage to panels? When was the system installed?β
Roof and electrical readiness
βIs the roof in good shape with remaining life (panels should outlast most roofs)? Do you know your main panel's amperage and available capacity? We assess roof condition, orientation, and electrical upgrade needs before designing.β
How solar savings work
βSolar offsets your grid usage, lowering your bill based on your utility's net-metering rules. Payback typically runs 6β12 years depending on system size, incentives, and local rates. We model your actual usage and rates.β
Incentives and tax credits
βThe federal residential solar tax credit currently covers 30% of system cost, and some states and utilities add their own incentives. We'll outline what applies to your location β but confirm final eligibility with your tax advisor.β
Pressure washing inquiry
βWhat surfaces β driveway, siding, deck, fence, or roof? Is this for general cleaning, or are there oil stains, mold, or algae? How large is the area, and is it single or multi-story?β
Soft wash vs pressure wash
βFor siding, roofs, and painted surfaces we use low-pressure soft washing with detergents β high pressure can damage them. Concrete and pavers can take higher pressure. We match the method to each surface.β
Junk removal inquiry
βWhat are you looking to remove β furniture, appliances, construction debris, yard waste, or a mix? Roughly how much (truck loads or cubic yards), and is it all accessible, or in a basement or upstairs? Any heavy or hazardous items?β
House cleaning service
βIs this a one-time deep clean, a move-in/out clean, or recurring service? How many bedrooms and bathrooms, and are there pets? Any specific areas of concern or products you prefer us to use or avoid?β
Access and water source
βFor pressure washing, is there an outdoor water spigot available, and clear access to all the surfaces? For junk removal, can a truck park close to the items? Access affects time and pricing.β
What we can and can't take
βWe take most household items, furniture, appliances, and debris. We can't take hazardous materials like paint, chemicals, batteries, or tires β those require special disposal. We'll sort and dispose of everything responsibly.β
How often to pressure wash
βMost homes benefit from pressure washing every 1β2 years to remove mold, mildew, and grime that degrade surfaces over time. Driveways and high-shade areas may need it more often. We can set up a recurring schedule.β

Water damage emergency
βIf water is still actively flowing, shut off the source or main water if you can. Where is the water β which rooms and floors? Is it clean water, or could it be from a sewer or contaminated source? How long ago did it start?β
Flood / storm damage
βHow high did the water reach, and has it receded? Is the home safe to enter (no standing water near electrical, no structural concerns)? Do you have photos of the damage for insurance? Are you filing a claim?β
Mold concern / visible growth
βWhere are you seeing the mold, and how widespread? Is there a musty smell or recent water event you can tie it to? Is anyone in the home experiencing health issues? Mold needs moisture β we'll find the source.β
Drying / dehumidification
βHow long has the area been wet, and has any water been extracted yet? What materials are affected β carpet, drywall, wood, or concrete? The faster we extract and dry, the less secondary damage and mold risk.β
Insurance and documentation
βAre you filing an insurance claim? Document everything with photos and video before any cleanup, and keep a list of damaged items. We provide detailed moisture mapping and documentation your adjuster will need.β
How long drying takes
βTypical structural drying runs 3β5 days with professional dehumidifiers and air movers, monitored daily with moisture meters. We dry to pre-loss moisture content β not just until it feels dry β to prevent mold.β
Mold remediation process
βWe contain the affected area, filter the air with HEPA scrubbers, remove contaminated materials, treat surfaces, and address the moisture source so it doesn't return. We follow industry protocols and document for clearance testing.β

Wall / crawl space insulation
βAre the walls insulated at all, and is this a retrofit or new construction? For crawl spaces, are you looking to insulate the floor joists or encapsulate the walls and ground? Any moisture issues in the space?β
Air sealing and energy
βAre you mainly chasing comfort, lower bills, or both? Have you had an energy audit? Air sealing gaps before adding insulation makes a big difference β we identify the biggest leaks first.β
Recommended R-value
βRecommended attic R-value depends on your climate zone β most U.S. homes target R-38 to R-60. We'll bring your attic up to the recommended level for your region and verify depth across the whole space.β
Honey-do / multiple small repairs
βWhat's on your list β drywall patches, hanging items, door adjustments, faucet fixes, trim work? It helps to group tasks so we can knock them out in one efficient visit. Roughly how many items?β
Drywall / patching repair
βWhat size are the holes or cracks, and do they need texture matching? Is there anything behind causing the damage β a leak, settling, or impact? We fix the cause before patching so it doesn't recur.β
Door / hardware / trim
βWhat needs doing β doors sticking, new hardware, hanging doors, or installing trim and baseboards? For sticking doors, is it seasonal (humidity) or constant? That tells us if it's a hinge adjust or a plane-and-shave.β
Scope and parts
βFor handyman work, a clear list of tasks plus whether you're providing materials or want us to source them helps us quote accurately. Some tasks (major electrical, plumbing, or structural) need a licensed specialist β we'll tell you upfront.β

Brand, age, and model
βWhat's the brand and model number (usually on a label inside the door or on the back), and roughly how old is the appliance? That tells us parts availability and whether repair or replacement makes more economic sense.β
Repair vs replace appliance
βA common guideline: if the repair cost is more than half the price of a comparable new unit and the appliance is past 8β10 years old, replacement often makes sense. We'll give you an honest diagnosis and quote before any work.β
Garage floor coating / epoxy
βIs this a new floor or coating over existing concrete? What condition is the concrete in β cracks, oil stains, moisture? Are you looking at epoxy, polyurea, or a polyaspartic system, and do you want flakes and a topcoat?β
